Hostel accommodation provided within the secure and quiet atmosphere of the college campus enjoys the reputation of fostering physical, spiritual and intellectual growth in its inmates and the alumni fondly recall their stay in the hostel as one of their most cherished experiences because of their sense of community living. There are 225 seats and 35 rooms in the New Hostel, meant for undergraduate, P.G. and B.Ed students. Hostel accommodation is inadequate to meet its ever-rising demand .On an average, in the Degree classes and above, over 100 girls are denied hostel admission due to lack of space.
Similarly a separate hostel is available for intermediate students which have 200 seats and students from primary to intermediate level are admitted to this hostel. Overall about 400 seats are available for Degree and Intermediate students.
A unique feature of the hostel is the large prayer room where the hostellers can pray and meditate any time of the day, providing the right environment and ambience for spiritual upliftment. There is a Grievance Redressal Cell comprising of the principal, the warden and members of the Hostel Committee who ensure the smooth functioning of the hostel, by timely redressal of the hostel problems. The Hostel Committee, comprising of staff members periodically makes surprise visits to the hostel to check the discipline, cleanliness, hygiene and general administration.
Every care has been taken to ensure the safety and security of girls in the hostel, for which a new computerized system has been installed at the reception with two lady receptionists. The computer is equipped with full details of each girl with her photograph along with visitors who have been authorized by her parents to visit the hostel and meet the girl. The pass is issued to each visitor from reception through which he/she can meet her ward in the hostel. No other person allowed to meet the girl in the hostel.
