Message from the Manager
With the passage of time it was felt by the Management to establish an English Medium School equipped with modern system of learning adhering to a new concept of child education. We have tried to adopt books laying emphasis on learning by doing. As educators, we keep this concept before us that the little children are like soft clay in our hands and we play important role in moulding them.
A good education depends on a partnership between teachers and parents. Between the ages of four and eighteen, a child spends on an average 30% of working hours in school. This simple statistic tells us that, in the formative years of a child, the influence of home and family plays a bigger part than lesson in the school. Thus, it is only natural for the Karamat Public School to count on the support of parents in its determination to do the best for its students.
Brief History
Karamat Public School, Faizabad Road, Lucknow is run by the Association for the Education for Muslimat in India, Lucknow, which is the parent body of Karamat Husain Muslim Girl's P.G. College Lucknow. The main object of the association is to advance the cause of education among muslim Women but its portal have always remained opened to the students belonging to all communities without any distinction of caste and creed.
We have been careful in selecting courses so that the child is not burdened with bags full of books. Our every effort is to develop the creative instinct of the student with the sole object of preparing her a happy and confident child. The school is situated in a vast campus at Faizabad Road having full facilities of play ground for a healthy atmosphere for overall personality development of the students.
We look to parents to provide a stable, healthy and cheerful home environment, encourage thoughtfulness, tolerance and responsibility and foster good social conduct. We have introduced Dinyat for every Muslim student and Sanskriti for every non Muslim student. Computer learning is compulsory for student up to VII standard. In High school it is one of the optional subjects which is approved by the U.P. Board of High school and Intermediate Education U.P. Allahabad.

A Mobile Book Exhibition was organised by the College Library on 15th July 2021. Our College participated in Book Exhibition Van (an initiative of National Book Trust, New Delhi). The exhibition was inaugurated by Mrs. Sehar Hussain (Principal). It displays many books on various theme like books on Gandhi, Nehru, Constitution, Social reformer, Indian History and many more. Books are available in English, Urdu and Hindi languages. Children books like story books, picture dictionary etc. are also available in the exhibition. Our teachers, Library staffs and students purchased many books of their interest.

Zonal Seminar
Karamat College Hosts a Zonal Seminar
The Committee on Girls’ Education organized a Zonal Seminar on “Empowerment of Minority Girls Through Education” on 15 Feb 2011. The Chief Guest For the occasion was Hon’ble Mr. Justice M.S.A. Siddiqui, Chairman, National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions New Delhi.
His address focused on some serious issues of how to reduce drop out rates in schools and to adopt suitable measures to attract minority girls towards education.
Dr. Mohinder Singh and Dr. Cyriac Thomas, Members of the Commission were Guest of Honour. The Function was organized at the Auditorium of the B.Ed. Dept. and Syed Shuaib Ahmed Saheb, Manager of the College was Convenor of the Seminar. Dr. Shabistan Gaffar, Chairperson of the Committee gave a report on the work done by the Committee since its inception in 2007.
Dr. Qamar Rehman, Member of the Committee, in her Keynote Address, talked of the need of imparting Technical Education to Minority Girls. Prof. Roop Rekha Verma, former VC, Lucknow University supported the issue of educating the girl child by quoting from a letter in the State Archives written by Justice Syed Karamat Husain, Founder of the College “Latest modern education should be given to women”.
